Along with all the usual Village activities, one of the new activities available this year is the Aerobounce - Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Make sure you don't miss out.
 
Aerobounce is also looking for part-time and casual staff. If you're 16-24, fit, motivated, well-presented, punctual and reliable why not shoot Rhys an email and let him know you're keen: rhys@aerobounce.com.au

State Youth Games Victoria would like to extend an invitation to those who have contributed to SYG in years past to attend this year's event as we celebrate 20 years. State Youth Games has a long and proud history of exceptional leadership and investment from so many that have made it the flagship event for Youth Vision in Victoria and Tasmania.

In 2010, State Youth Games will host 77 churches from across the state, including over 2700 registered participants and an anticipated 350 visitors per day. Visitors are welcome at any time but the evenings require a $10 fee payable at the SYG Cafe on the night.

Here's a rundown of the night schedule...

Friday 9pm - Village
Friday 10pm - Opening Ceremony
Friday 11pm - Village & late night sports

Saturday 7:30pm - Evening program early edition featuring the YV Band and Captain Danielle Strickland
Saturday 8:45pm - Evening program late edition featuring the YV Band and Captain Danielle Strickland
Saturday 10pm - Village & late night sports

Sunday 7:30pm - Evening program early edition featuring the YV Band and Captain Danielle Strickland
Sunday 8:45pm - Evening program late edition featuring the YV Band and Captain Danielle Strickland
Sunday 10pm - Village & late night sports

Monday 10am - Closing ceremony

Please note, there is a $10 charge (payable at the cafe) for non-registered visitors wishing to attend the evenings. This charge means that registered attenders are no longer covering the cost of visitors. The $10 cost covers 1, 2 or 3 nights.

Most groups should now have received their registration packs and be getting forms out. If you've received a form from your group coordinator, make sure you fill it in and get it back to them as soon as possible. SYG 2010 is shaping up brilliantly - can't wait to watch the beep test each night.
